Wave Race

Wave Race is an arcade game based on a single concept: moving your character to the end of the tunnel. You control an arrow-shaped character that moves ahead through obstacles such as spikes, turning gears, solid walls, and many more.

Control Your Movement

Though your character moves automatically in Wave Race, you decide whether it will fly upwards or downwards. Pressing the control key makes it move upwards towards the ceiling, whereas not pressing it moves it downwards. The combination of these two movements will help you move through the tunnel.

Read the Course

Anticipation plays a huge role in the game. Instead of focusing only on the obstacle before you, look ahead and see what lies ahead. Sometimes, the slightest change of direction can help you avoid an imminent crash.

Survive Narrow Passages

With every course you advance to, things get harder for you. The open passages soon become tight passages, which allow no room for mistakes. There may be obstacles that appear in complicated patterns and will require you to respond quickly but remain controlled.

Improve Through Repetition

Failure is inevitable when you play Wave Race. But each time you fail, remember what caused you to fail and take another path. Through constant attempts at the difficult levels, you'll figure out their rhythm and train yourself to be faster in your responses. Difficult levels will easily become manageable due to constant practice.

Test Yourself in Extra Modes

Once you have mastered the basic obstacles, try out the different game modes. Endless mode is designed to keep you alive for as long as you can, while Race mode allows you to race against other arrow-like avatars. The mentioned alternatives give you new goals other than just finishing the tunnels.

Pay attention to the incoming obstacles, move smoothly, and don't hurry your decisions.
