The objective of the game is for the return man to catch the ball and run across the field to the end zone for a touchdown. Return Man Gameplay
The objective in Return Man is to catch the football that is kicked and carry it safely to the touchdown zone. At the beginning of each round, a football is kicked in your direction. You have to maneuver your player to the right spot on the field to catch the football cleanly.
Once you have managed to catch the football, you can then begin your journey to the touchdown zone. However, you are not alone in the field. Several players are coming in your direction. You have to move through the field in a manner that you can reach the touchdown zone safely. You cannot run in a straight line into the players, as that will stop you from proceeding.
The game shows you several paths through which you can run through the field using several markers placed on the field.
