How to play Arcade Volley
There are 2 game modes to choose from: Tournament and random, quick matches. Want a quick, random match? Press 'Start' to jump right in. Prefer a competitive challenge with multiple rounds and a shot at the trophy? Choose 'Tournament' mode. Pick one of your favorites and start the match instantly.
Game rules and objectives
In a quick match, you need to score 15 points before your opponent in order to win a set; the first to win three sets wins the game. Each team can hit the ball up to 3 times before sending it over the net.
In Tournament mode, the first to reach 2 sets wins the match (10 points to win a set), and you must, of course, win several consecutive matches to win the trophy. It’s worth noting that each match in this mode gets progressively harder, with faster and more powerful opponents.
Time your jumps and spikes
Play both characters to cover your side of the court. Time your jumps and spikes to land powerful shots or block your opponent. Jump just before the ball reaches you to meet it at its peak. For spikes, jump early and press jump again mid-air to smash it down by spiking, blocking, and diving across the court.
Defend and block the opponent's spike
Time your jumps near the net just as your opponent spikes to block the ball. If you jump too early, you’ll miss the ball; too late, and it’s already past you. Also, do not forget to cover the backcourt for effective defense.
